Really Afford to Gamble at a Casino

Okay, so maybe you make a good living and pay all (or most) of your bills on time. And maybe you have no moral compunctions about gambling at a casino.

But from 14 April 2020, you won't be able to hop onto a gambling website and bet money on your credit card anymore.

The UK gambling commission is banning the use of credit cards in online gambling, so anyone wanting to place a bet or play the slots will need to use their own money to do so.

Culture Minister Helen Whately told the BBC: "Whilst millions gamble responsibly, I have also met people whose lives have been turned upside down by gambling addiction.

Whatever casino game you choose, always follow this golden rule to make sure that you never leave the casino in utter despair and in a financial hole you can’t get out of. Only gamble money you can afford to lose.

If all of the money that you have is intended for something important like your food, car payment or electric bills, do not gamble it, ever. Better yet, do not step inside a casino so as not to be tempted to risk money that you can’t afford to lose. If you do have disposable income and the money to spend, only risk half of it, that way you will have a chance to try your luck another day.
